Best Biddy

Creating your Best Biddy profile is simple and easy.

Showcase your company and expertise by incorporating your logo, business description, website link, years in business, service categories/location, phone number, and customer references. Use your description to highlight your service offering and key strengths.

Subscription members (see membership packages below) enjoy premium placement and a listing with additional features including the ability to add portfolio pictures, video, credentials, associations, and licensing/insurance information.

It is recommended that you use your pictures and incorporate a video to showcase your portfolio of past work as consumers will be interested in viewing this in making their hiring decisions. If you have a video already you can add this to your profile as part of the subscription package. If you do not have a video, Best Biddy can assist you in creating a video using photos of your work.

Get "Best Biddy Verified" and give yourself more credibility (only available to subscription package members). Simply submit your licensing and insurance (if applicable) to Best Biddy and receive a "Best Biddy Verified" stamp on your public profile. This will show consumers that we have verified your information.

Your profile will be listed on Best Biddy's searchable directory (SEO optimized), a great way to give your company visibility to the public. Also, when you bid on projects consumers will be directed to your profile to help them make their hiring decision.

Once a project has been posted in your select location and specified category, you will receive an automatic email notification informing you of the project with a direct link to the project post.

Questions on Projects/Home Consult Requests

If you do not have enough information to bid on a project, submit a posted question. This will be visible to all professionals so do check the questions/responses before you post your question (only available to subscription package members)

Home renovators who require a home consult before placing a bid can submit a home consult request (only available to subscription package members). If the consumer would like you to provide a consult they will send you a message with their contact information

If a project interests you, simply submit your bid to the consumer (only available to subscription package members) with a description of what you will be including in your bid. Make sure you submit your bid within the time period specified by the consumer. Only eight bids are allowed per project, so it is best to get your bid in earlier. If you are late you will receive a notification that the maximum number of bids has been reached.

Once your bid has been submitted, the consumer will review your bid, your Best Biddy profile, then make a hiring decision. The winning bid is at the sole discretion of the consumer.

One your bid has been selected you will be able to use Best Biddy's private message base to exchange contact information and other project details with the consumer

Basic Listing Package

This package gives you a simple means of advertising your business through your public profile. You will be notified by email of relevant projects. However, with the Basic Listing, there are no bidding capabilities nor access to request a home consult (home renovators only). To enable these capabilities, you must upgrade your membership to the subscription package.

The subscription package offers you all the features of the Basic listing package. The advantage of the subscription package is that you are able to bid on projects (unlimited bids) and request home consults to meet with consumers (renovators only). Your fee is an economical yearly or semi-annual subscription fee paid at the beginning of your term and represents an advertising cost. This package enables you to present your offering directly to each consumer that is seeking a service in your field as opposed to waiting to be found in the directory.

This positions your business favourably as project owners browse local service professionals.
Advertising Your Special Offers			Advertise your special offers in your profile and city-wide. Your special offers will be featured as a rotating ad for consumers in your service area to view.
Professional Networking			Network with a diverse group of professionals (wedding vendors, home renovators, real estate agents etc.) on bestbiddy.com through our private message base and forum. Search for subcontractors, form collaborations both within your sector and outside
